Experience the best of Munich with our 2-day Explore Ticket. This includes a 2-day pass to explore Munich's must-see landmarks and attractions on our open-top bus tours, with access to both the green and orange route lines.
What does "Hop On - Hop Off" mean?
Our double-decker buses travel to numerous stops on fixed routes throughout Munich. At each of these stops you can get on and off the bus when you like to explore the area of Munich on your own. Your ticket is valid for 48 hours, during this period you can use our buses as often as you like to visit the whole city. Of course you can also stay on the bus and enjoy a "classic" sightseeing tour.
Where can I start the tour?
All city tours start and end at stop 1 "Karlsplatz 21 / Stachus (Sonnenstraße next to BUDDY Hotel). However, you may start your tour at any of our stops. Tickets can be redeemed at any stop with our sales staff or bus driver.
Do tours operate daily?
Our Hop-on, hop-off tours operate daily, 365 days a year. Please note, there may be disruptions during special events.
How long does a sightseeing tour take?
Grand Tour (Green & Orange routes): 140 minutes (approximately) if you stay on the bus. If you get off and on at the stops, the journey time increases accordingly. Timing depends on traffic conditions.
How often to the buses run?
Buses run every 30 minutes.

Is there a commentary available in my language?
All our buses are equipped with audio guides in 9 languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese) so you can listen to interesting information about the sights along the way. To listen to the commentary, simply connect a headset to the audio guide, which is built into each row of seats. Headphones are free when you board the bus. You can also use your own set of headphones with a jack connector.
Where can I buy tickets for the Munich sightseeing tour?
Tickets for all our Munich tours can be purchased via our website. With an online ticket you can hop on immediately, without any queuing or waiting times! Of course, tickets for our tours are also available at the bus driver, at our stops "Karlsplatz / Stachus" and "Marienplatz", at the tourist office and in many hotels in Munich.
Do I have to print my online ticket?
Tickets purchased through the website do not need to be printed. Simply show the barcode of your ticket on your smartphone when you board the bus.
Is there a discount available for groups?
Every 15th person is free of charge. This discount is only applicable for tickets booked through our sales staff at stop 1 Karlsplatz/Stachus. Alternatively, please contact us for information.
Is it possible to hire one of the double-decker buses for a private event?
It is possible outside our daily business hours. Please contact us for a quote.
Are the sightseeing buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes, they are.
Can I take my dog on the bus?
Certainly, we welcome dogs on our buses.
